Dear animal lovers,

I would like to welcome you to the official website of Tabor Zoo, the largest zoo in South Bohemia. No matter if you have already visited our Zoo or plan to visit it in the future, I believe you will find all the essential information and the latest news here.

As new owners, we reopened the Tabor Zoo on June 30th, 2015, and we currently exhibit more than 300 animals. Over two-thirds of them belong on the list of endangered species. To protect and reproduce endangered species, which are often on the edge of extinction, has been our mission since the beginning. We do not wish to be a zoological garden that only collects individual animals. On the contrary, we would like to educate anybody who is interested in the lives of animals.
